With its natural alpine
beauty, year round cultural events, and activities for all ages, Thredbo
is truly the place for all seasons.
During summer the village is a hive of activity. The village shops
are open as are an abundance of restaurants. Hop in a gondola to visit
Eagles Nest, the highest restaurant in Australia, and enjoy
this unique dining experience. |

The Kosciuszko Express
operates every day of the year and can have you at Top Station in
about 10 minutes. From there you can walk to the Roof of Australia.
A white Christmas is always possible, as Thredbo often has snowfalls
during summer. |

For those
who like an adrenalin rush, mountain biking is big in these parts.
You can take the chairlift to the top of the mountain and hurtle down
the famous Cannonball Run. |

For a little more control
in your adventure try the 700 metre Thredbo Bobsled Luge Ride. Perhaps
a round of golf on Australias highest golf course. Or try a
spot of fly fishing. There is so much to do, and never enough time. |

In Thredbo,
anything goes. Indulge in a massage, swimming or just take time out
for yourself and your family. Take a scenic walk to look at the abundance
of native wildflowers. Then back to Snowdrift Chalet to sit beside
the roaring fire, a game of pool or a night in watching a DVD from
our library. |
